Kuddle Time With Azlyn & Liam

How lucky am I!!! It is almost becoming a habit that I get to see Azlyn and Liam each month since Liam's birth. I could really get use to this. I love spending time with these two! Dara and Jim flew with the kids to Phoenix this past week to stay in a resort (Jim received a reward from his work), while Dara's parents picked up the kids to stay with them for the week in Tucson. So I of course drove up to visit them. I had a blast! Azlyn cuddled with me more in this one visit than she had her entire life after leaving the hospital that is.
It's really hard to get a picture with all 3 of us looking!
These two are so cute together. Liam adores Azlyn. I really wish I had brought Kade, because Azlyn kept asking about him, and Kade just adores his younger brother and sister.
Failed attempt #2 of trying to get us all looking.
I brought Azlyn a little Tinker Bell phone, and as I tried to photograph her with it she did the same to me. Dara saw the picture and knew exactly what Azlyn was doing. I guess she does this regularly.
Brother and Sister! I am so glad they have each other.
Failed attempt #3 lol
This little guy makes the cutest faces

Love that belly

We Did It!

Poor princess bonked her head.
Grandma Butler "revived" Bear Bear by adding more stuffing to him and sewing him up. Azlyn decided she needed to be stuffed too. See her fluffy belly? So cute.

I like this one

Hard to believe she is actually laughing
I am so glad I get to see you guys often. I sure love you both and always will.

Kouldn't Love You More If I Tried

This morning I went in to our medical office at Cochise Eye & Laser for some training, and after that I came home put Kade down for a nap and I went to Tucson to see Dara, Azlyn, and Liam. I have not seen them since Thanksgiving morning, so i couldn't wait to get there this afternoon.
Talking and getting to visit with Dara and her family is always so much fun. I have gotten to love all of them. I got to play with Azlyn (2) and Liam (4 months). He has gotten so big, I could hardly believe it. Getting to visit with Dara and love on her little ones is always much needed and loved. I am so glad Dara and Jim share them with me, and that I get to be a part of their lives.
Liam you are just perfect
Azlyn was so stinking adorable as always. Her aunt and uncle got the cutest little boxer puppy named Kempton (Kemp for short), and Azlyn loved playing with him.
Cute little Liam all bundles up outside
I just love you Liam, you have the cutest face.
Dara getting Liam ready to rinse off in the sink. I love his rolls.

Bath time in the sink. This kid has some killer rolls.
All clean and ready to unwind for bed time.
Dara helped Azlyn hold Kemp
What a big girl
Azlyn honestly had more energy then Kemp. She loved running with him and getting Kemp to chase her. I have never met a child that could outrun a puppy and get him to pass out tired with her still wanting to play and keep going. It was so adorable, if Kemp did not follow her she would say Kemk, She needs you. I love hearing her speak about herself in the third person lol.

Azlyn came up to me right before bed a snuggled for a little bit. It made my night.
I cant get enough of these two. Too bad Kade was sick. He loves getting to see Dara and his baby brother and sister. He talks about them all the time and always prays for their whole family.

Dara and I don't always get to pose just the two of us. So glad we got a picture with each other. She has become my best friend, and love getting to look up to her. I learn so much from her all the time.
I love you all more than words could explain, and Dara your friendship and kind words mean the world to me.
Can't wait to see you all in a few months, this time in the Temple and all together. Thanks for letting me come up and visit.

Kutest Little Girl I Know Turns 2

Two years ago today at this exact time (2:47 P.M.), I delivered a beautiful baby girl. Azlyn Kate, weighing 7lbs 3oz. She was perfect. And it was an amazing experience. I knew that I was going to get to be her mother for only a short little time, and I did not want to miss a thing. Not a yawn, a cry, or even a hiccup. I stayed awake for 7 days straight, unable to even sleep for a minute. These few days in the hospital when she was mine was my time to bond with her, to hold her and explain the reasons I am sure she already knew about why I decided to place her with Dara and Jim.
Azlyn was mine for 13 days until January 28th when I signed the adoption paperwork to relinquish my rights and place her in the arms of her new loving family.

She was loved and always wanted, by my family and her own. She brought two families together by agreeing to come here to earth. She had faith enough in me while in heaven to get her here and find her parents. Azlyn knew as did I how difficult this would all be, but she trusted I would do the right thing. She knew that her parents and I would cross paths on earth because of her, and become friends and basically family like we were in heaven. What a brave little girl to have all that faith.

Here we all are at the Relinquishment Party.

I love getting to watch this little miracle grow. I love our visits, the pictures I receive, and adore her parents. Azlyn has the sweetest most happy disposition. She loves life, and is happy in the life she was meant to be a part of. She has a Wonderful older brother Kade, and the cutest little brother Liam.

Azlyn is growing big so fast. Here she is when she was born...

Her First Birthday...

And now her 2nd birthday.

Azlyn I know will grow up healthy, happy, and secure. You are surrounded by love. Adoption just means you have twice the people to love you.

I am eternally grateful to her parents, for allowing me to be in all of their lives. I have no regrets about my choice in placing her. The hole in my heart that was left causing me so much pain was filled each time I saw the twinkle in her eyes while with her parents. Also by bettering myself, and instead of wallowing is self pity, allowing myself to progress and move forward.

You have changed my life Azlyn. You taught me so much about love and sacrifice, and I would not be who I am today if you were not still a part of life. I love you so much, and pray for you and your family daily. As does your big brother Kade. I know you made it to where you belong, and am grateful I still have the great opportunity to love you and watch you grow.

Have a wonderful Birthday Azlyn. I can't wait to see the amazing thing you will do in your life, but for now... Enjoy being 2!

Happy Birthday
